Frequently Asked Question

Volume Types
Last Updated 3 years ago

Openstack stores Data in so-called volumes.
Volumes are block storage devices that you attach to instances to provide persistent storage.

Our default type is Hybrid SSD.
This kind of volume provides a minimum of around 120IOPS (input/output
operations per second) and up to 900IOPS based on capacity.

If you plan to stripe data across multiple volumes, please get in touch with us.
Depending on the particular need, we may be able to create a different volume type that is tailored to your use case.
